Welcome Home, Kensington!

We brought Kensington home after only 36 hours in the hospital (36.5 hours if you include labor and delivery!). Neal got back from the baby sitter's shortly after we settled in. It felt great to be together as a family in our home!

Here is the little angel asleep in her hospital bassinet. We got her the same little Duke outfit and blanket that we had for Neal, only in pink. You can only see the hat in this picture.

Neal seeing Kensington in our apartment for the first time. He was excited to see that she was wearing the hat we bought for her several months before. We used to ask him who the hat was for and he would respond by doing his sign for "baby sister". So happy to have a new friend! (Although Kensington seems a little apathetic.) Kensington in her mini crib with the beautiful bedding that her mom sewed for her! Neal wanted to take a nap next to his baby sister. Neal thought Kensington's toes were so cute... ... that he wanted to touch them with his toes!
