Our little daughter wanted so badly to say "Happy Anniversary" to Mom and Dad that she burst into the world last night at 10:52 PM with very little warning. There was not enough time for an epidural or even to get us into a real delivery room, so she was delivered in OB triage. Although we're not sure we like the idea of sharing our anniversary, we couldn't be happier to have her join our little family. Welcome, little girl!
The first picture was taken around 8:15, just prior to our romantic take-out anniversary dinner. We made the decision to do take-out rather than dine-in one hour before this picture was taken, when Liz decided her contractions were a little too uncomfortable. Two and a half hours after the picture was taken, our daughter was born.

i've been checking all day for pics...thanks for posting!! i can't say how jealous i am of you and how happy i am for you too!!!!!! ha! my in-laws share their anniversary with one of their kids...i don't know how it is for them but i guess just twice the celebration! happy anniversary and CONGRATS! p.s. can't wait to hear how it went without the epidural...

Congratulations! What a story . . . isn't that scary how fast they can come sometimes? I'm glad all went well. She is beautiful.
